Until now, professional microneedling and radiofrequency for skin rejuvenation have existed as separate modalities. With the SkinMorph RF Fractional Remodeling machine, however, these two powerful technologies work in conjunction with one another to reduce wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scars, stretch marks and on the body, to promote subdermal adipose remodelling.

SkinMorph's technology involves a dual process of epidermal ablation and thermal coagulation. Upon needle insertion into the skin, RF energy is emitted into the deeper layer of the dermis, which activates the processes of collagen remodelling and skin tightening. This thermal energy is depth-controlled, ensuring that there is no collateral damage to the surrounding tissue. Secondly, micro-ablation of the upper epidermal layers as well as mild coagulation of the superficial skin layer takes place due to minimally-invasive delivery of RF energy through these microneedle channels. This stimulates tissue contraction, with further collagen production acting to reduce surface irregularities such as scars and fine lines.

1What is SkinMorph?

SkinMorph is a fractional remodeling treatment, which enables radiofrequency energy to be delivered into the skin at the same time the needles penetrate the epidermis. This initiates micro-ablation (resurfacing) of the skin, as well as skin contraction via tissue coagulation.

2Is RF fractional microneedling safe?

The SkinMorph machine enables our Skin Specialists to control both the depth of the micro-needles (adjustable by increments of 0.1mm) along with the intensity of the radiofrequency energy emitted during treatment. This safeguards the skin from overheating.

3Treatment Areas
SkinMorph RF can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area, abdomen, thighs, legs, chest/décolleté and buttocks.
4Ideal candidates

With a 36-needle handpiece, SkinMorph's needle depths are adjustable from 0.3mm to 3mm. This means that it is suitable for a wide variety of indications on the face and body. At a greater needle depth, our Skin Specialists can treat areas of the body affected by stretch marks and skin laxity. Safe on skin types up to and including VI with little risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) which is common with other resurfacing methods. After a short initial downtime period, improvements can be seen and felt within days.

1During your treatment

  • Our Skin Specialists will analyse your skin to determine the concerns which may be treatable with SkinMorph's RF Fractional Remodeling technology
  • On the day of your procedure, we will first make sure your skin is free of any build-up, products and/or cosmetics
  • A special numbing cream is applied to all sites in advance of treatment
  • The SkinMorph machine's settings will be configured and the treatment administered by our Skin Specialists.

2After your treatment

On account of the fact that, unlike laser resurfacing, RF fractional remodeling spares a portion of untreated tissue between the needle insertion points, downtime is typically minimal. You may be recommended aftercare products from our bea Skin Care range in order to maintain and enhance treatment results.

The SkinMorph RF Fractional Remodeling procedure can be administered as a one-off, but for optimal results, we recommend a minimum course of 4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Improvements in skin tone, texture and clarity appear after the initial downtime period.

Results continue to improve with additional sessions and difficult conditions such as acne scarring can show significant improvements.
